Temple Band   -   America's Oldest Town Band

 

 

The Temple Band, "America‘s First Town Band", has resumed its Fall/Winter rehearsal schedule. Please come and join us on Monday evenings from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Temple Town Hall (Miller Grange) located on Route 45 (South of Route 101) in Temple, NH.

The Temple Band is an all volunteer, non-profit community band whose members range in age from 10 to 85 and live in southern NH and northern MA. There are no dues, fees or auditions required, however two years experience on your concert band instrument is requested. All concert band instruments are welcome.

The Band meets for weekly rehearsals on Monday night from 7 - 9 pm from October to May. Our performance venue includes a winter holiday concert and about 15 summer events scheduled throughout New England. Yankee Magazine featured The Temple Band as one of "25 People to Meet in New England" in 2008.

Rehearsals are held in the Town Hall, located on Route 45 south off Route 101 in the center of Temple, NH.
